As we age, it’s even more important to stay fit, mentally alert and connected to friends so that we can live our future lives in better health. MyActivityPal is a new app that gives you ideas and inspiration to keep active, track your health, and find fun activities to do to help you live a healthier, happier life.


How we helped

The Autumn Project team presented us with an idea aimed at improving people’s lives. Collaboratively, we transformed their plans into a comprehensive strategic blueprint and an innovative application, packed with robust functionalities and gamification elements. Additionally, we crafted a fresh brand identity for the app release, including an engaging character named Max, designed to motivate and inspire users.

The brand

By establishing a consistent and recognisable visual presence, the app stands out from competitors and resonates with its target audience. The well-crafted logo and app icon serve as memorable symbols, instantly capturing users’ attention and fostering brand recognition. The carefully chosen colour scheme and typography create a harmonious and engaging user experience, enhancing brand perception and trust. Overall, the thoughtfully designed brand identity elevates MyActivityPal’s appeal, leaving a lasting impression on users and contributing to the app’s success.

The app

Before narrowing down the feel and look, we explored several different mockups for the app and branding. After several iterations and user testing, the final app contains four core elements: social, gamification, fitness and brain training. The user is provided with personalised suggestions, with Max popping up occasionally with valuable hints and information relevant to you.

Social media banners and graphics were included as part of the branding to ensure a cohesive look and entice the users with engaging visuals.

The app is currently undergoing a trial anyone can join before being released to the wider public.
