Knowle West Community – The Knowle West Alliance

Creating a unified digital hub to connect the Knowle West community

  • A massive 126% increase in community content submissions
  • A unified digital presence that clears up brand confusion
  • A funder ready impact report to support grant applications

&

We helped Knowle West Community bring their brands together and transform their digital presence into a truly interactive hub. The goal was to boost local engagement while building absolute trust with decision makers. Paired with a beautiful new impact report, their funder ready website is now a powerful tool to secure future support.

The Challenge:
Clearing up brand confusion

The Knowle West Alliance does incredible work for their local area, but their digital presence was causing some confusion. People were regularly mixing them up with the Knowle West Media Centre, and many did not realise that the brilliant local paper, The Knowledge, was actually part of the Alliance!

To grow and secure future funding, they needed to:

  • Bring their brands together into one cohesive identity.
  • Drastically increase active engagement from the local community.
  • Look professional and credible to funders while remaining warm and inviting to locals.

Our Approach

To make sure the new site really resonated, we took our designs straight to the community! We hosted local events where residents could share their thoughts on the new branding and website layouts. By listening to exactly what they wanted, we created a digital space the whole neighbourhood feels proud of.

Here’s what we did:

We created a cohesive digital home that perfectly aligns Knowle West Alliance and The Knowledge, instantly clearing up any public confusion.

We developed a fresh events calendar, a latest updates section, and a local business directory that anyone can add to.

Instead of a corporate report, we designed a beautiful “community learning document” that shares their journey and gives funders clear evidence.

Increase in community submissions

The results

We focus on creating assets that do the heavy lifting for your charity. The new Knowle West Community website and learning document are now actively used to support grant applications and build public trust. Since launch, they have achieved:

  • A huge increase in community submissions across events, updates, and the directory!
  • A highly credible digital presence that perfectly balances professional authority with local warmth.
  • A powerful grant application tool through their new community impact report, giving funders the exact proof they need to see.
