About Made for Impact

We help charities get taken seriously

You are running a charity that changes lives, yet it often feels like you are invisible. Too many good organisations lose out on funding, not because their work isn’t strong, but because their story isn’t landing.

At Made for Impact, we exist to level the playing field. We turn your work into clear, credible communication that builds trust and secures funding.

We are one of you

We don’t just work with charities, we are deeply embedded in the charity world. Because we know the drill, we don’t waste your time. We focus on credibility and clarity.

Things we are proud of

A vibrant, wide-angle shot of the Bristol Young Heroes Awards stage, where Made for Impact is a proud event partner. Large digital screens on either side of a star-shaped backdrop display the bright pink and yellow Made for Impact logo. The room is filled with guests at dinner tables, captured in low-light event seating, highlighting a moment of community celebration and the agency’s active "local involvement" in championing young people.

BYHA Event Partner

Since 2020, we are event partners for the annual Bristol Young Heroes Awards. Supporting Community of Purpose to celebrate the incredible young people in our city is a highlight of our year and a partnership we cherish.

The award represents a significant achievement for Made for Impact in the Bristol community, highlighting the agency’s "local involvement" and commitment to being a "credible" partner within the charity sector. In the background, a framed artwork of a sunset adds to the warm, professional, and "positive" atmosphere of the office.

Bristol Community Award

We were thrilled to take home a Bristol Life Award. It was a massive vote of confidence from our local business community and recognition of our commitment to doing business with purpose in the city we love.

10 Years delivering results

March 2026 marks our ten year anniversary. We have come a long way, but our biggest point of pride is the success of our clients. Helping charities secure life-changing funding is exactly why we do what we do.

Our Values

Proactive

We don’t wait around. We ask the tough questions, flag risks early, and guide you using best practice.

Positive

We are supportive, energising partners. We are always up for a challenge and focus on solutions.

Purposeful

Everything we do has an intent. We focus on work that genuinely helps you build sustainability, not just stuff that looks cool.

Sound good?

If we sound like a good fit, let’s catch up over coffee.

Community roots. National impact.

Today, we are proud to have our own office at the Knowle West Media Centre (KWMC). It is a full-circle moment for us, as this is the exact place we used to attend creative workshops as kids.

While we are deeply rooted in Bristol, our impact is UK-wide. We partner with charities from all corners of the country to help them secure funding and build trust.

We were even recognised recently with a Bristol Life Award for our work in the community. It is a reminder of why we do what we do.

We love that our rent contributes to the fantastic programmes KWMC runs. Plus, the building itself matches our values; it is a sustainable straw bale construction centred on social change. We have grown up alongside the sector we serve, and we are in it for the long haul.

From an attic to the heart of the sector

It started ten years ago in our mum and dad’s attic.

We were working in the sector, one of us in charity marketing, the other as a videographer capturing charity stories on the ground. We realised there was a better way to do things. A way that was more honest, more proactive, and more focused on actual results rather than just “pretty” design.

With one of us building websites and the other filming impact, it just made sense to join forces.
